The 74th Republic Day was celebrated in Kalypso Jaypee Green Town with devotion, passion & warmth. Residents of Kalypso Towers 11 to 16 & nearby towers participated with the spirit of nationalism. The Chief Guests of the Republic Day programme were Mr. Shabd Sinha, Mr. Kalidhar & Mr. Jayesh Patel.
At 9:50 AM, in the chilly weather, the programme began with the National Anthem by Nidhi, Anju, Ekta Gupta, Gareema Sethi, Kumkum Sinha, Shilpi, Manju, Seema, Anu, Surender ji & many melodious singers.
This was followed by a beautiful medley by the same group, prepared by Nidhi & Anju. Children displayed their talent along with the entertaining compering by Punith Sethi, Gareema Sethi & Ekta Gupta.
The main attraction was a skit by children – Thwisha, Utkarsha, Yashwi, Abir, Ritisha, Ansh, Aashna, Manya, Vedanshi, Onish, Aarna, Yansh, Ishanvi – & a group dance. Krisha & Thwisha also sang a beautiful song.
All the kids were given prizes for their performances. At the end, everyone enjoyed a tasty brunch. Residents appreciated the performers’ efforts & also extended their support for celebrations in future.
