India’s constitution was adopted on January 26, 1950, and that day is recognized as Republic Day, marking the beginning of the republican era in that nation. Apex Athena showcased the day’s celebrations with great passion and energy. O.P Sharma was the chief guest of the day and the Indian flag was unfurled by Vijita Ray Malviya, Dy. Director in Lok Sabha Secretariat, Parliament of India.
The function was followed by kid’s dance, races, speeches, and musical chairs (kids and women). Kids and residents enjoyed every bit of the event. Vedika Mittal and Neeta Dalmia won the musical chair in the kids and women categories respectively. Later the refreshment and coffee were distributed among the residents. The event was well organized and successful with the help of many volunteer residents and the newly elected president Sushant Yadav.
