It was a sunny afternoon when my 3-year-old daughter shouted out from the balcony ‘mumma see that parrot on the tree’. And I, being occupied in my usual work ignored her call initially. Once again she pushed me to look toward the tree, just outside my house. And yes, we both spotted two lovely green parrots. We jumped with joy!
The next day, again at almost the same time, we saw two to three parrots on the same tree. This became a routine for the following days.
The lovely duo, and many times trio, of parrots, come daily and make cute little noises. It seems now these parrots love this tree and we love spotting them every day.
They have made a little nest or is it a simple resting place, for themselves in the tree trunk. It’s a true delight each day to see these parrots while having lunch on a bright sunny afternoon.
