With a view to strengthening the security of the colony, GKIIWA organized a security drill on 17th December`22 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the main M-Block Road, GK-2 during which the high Security ANPR cameras were tested and security services personal deployed along the entire stretch of the road. This drill was carried out in presence of SHO Mr Ritesh Sharma and Delhi Police staff along with the members of GKIIWA.
GKIIWA hosted the Launch of phase-2 of CCTV Cameras on Sunday 18th Dec. 2022 at Arya Samaj Mandir, GK2, which was inaugurated by Mr Saurabh Bharadwaj MLA. This project is being executed by Delhi Government. MLA Mr Saurabh Bhardwaj, SHO Mr Ritesh Sharma and newly elected MCD Councillor Ms Ashu Thakur were also present for the program along with the representatives of various RWA coming under the GK Assembly segment.
GKIIWA coordinated a visit of 250 students of low socio-economic strata of the society studying free at school run by Gurudwara Nanaksar, to the Winter Carnival celebrated by KR Mangalam World School, GK-2 on 29th December`22 at the school campus. Not only were these children granted free entry to the carnival, they were also allowed to play games in the carnival free of cost. GKIIWA also provided gifts to each of these 250 kids.
