Yash Pal Syngal of Windsor Court, fondly known as Yash or Paul, ran the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon on 16th Oct 2022 and raised Rs. 12.8L for the Earth Saviours Foundation, surpassing his original goal of Rs. 10L. The money raised will fund one year worth of living and health care expenses of 50 residents at a new Earth Saviours center. Yash and family funded the building of the center in memory of his late wife Sabina who fought a brave battle with cancer.
Yash is an IIT graduate and ex-CIO of prestigious organizations such as Aon Hewitt, Fidelity, Amex and GE. Currently, he teaches physics to senior students at VIDYA Integrated Development for Youth and Adults, leads many community betterment projects at Windsor Court in the capacity of CAC member and practices Clarion in his free time.
Yash started running Marathons 8 years ago. He has run many half marathons and a full marathon in Paris in 2018 where he raised funds for VIDYA. He speaks warmly and enthusiastically about how these marathons bring together the social aspect, physical fitness and the human connection when thousands run together towards a finish line for a cause bigger than themselves!
