Happy New Year! Wishing you all a Happy HEALTHY Life!! By realizing you have one: Because of the polluted environment we live in, the contaminated food that we in dulge, the stress that we have in careers and businesses, and our unhealthy lifestyle of metro living with long working hours, late night parties, no routine of daily exercises etc. it’s bound to take a toll on our bodies and make us sick – someday or the other.
How can we prevent ourselves getting sick? How can we remain healthy? We all know the following – but we do not heed it until too late: Sufficient sleep, exercise, healthy food, friendship, and peace of mind are necessities, not luxuries.
Happiness is the highest form of health. Money is the most envied, but the least enjoyed. Health is the most enjoyed, but the least envied. You are what you eat. The people you surround yourself with influence your behaviour, so choose friends who have healthy habits. Your net worth in this world is determined by what remains after your bad habits are subtracted from your good ones.
The health of a person is dependent on 4 pillars. These are – proper diet, sleep, discipline and exercise. And apart from the above, the most important attribute remains – that of ‘our attitude’. Because Life is only 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it. So let us change our focus from Wealth to Health. After all Wealth may be the most envied but it is actually the least enjoyed, while Health is unfortunately the least envied but is definitely the most enjoyed.
It is said that we all have two lives and the second one begins as soon as we realise that we have only one. So let us start our second life from today!
