This November our society had its 10th anniversary and it made me realize just how far the society, as a whole, had come. I have been a LB resident for over 8 years and while I have loved most of my time here there is a lot I wish to forget about too.
When possession was first given to the residents our society didn’t have a generator which could handle a lot of load and this situation only worsened when we were allowed to start living in phase 2.
I still remember the long nights when the electricity would go out for hours as the generator wasn’t able to handle the load but now we are over 2500 families strong and don’t face problems with our electricity.
In the early days, the residents used to face a lot of issues regarding possession every other day but now that there is governance in the society, everything has calmed down and become more organized.
We have grown as a society and all of this has also come with sacrifices may it be the recent dog incident or the suicide and murder cases which happened in our society a long time ago.
