Ladies from RP2 played Santa Claus and brought a smile to the children studying at Spreading Smiles Gyan Kendra, an NGO school being run by Dr. SK Dhingra. Spreading Smiles runs a school and provides free education and meals to children of the underpriviliged residing in & around the Nathupur village.
The RP-2 resident ladies contributed biscuits, chocolates cake and stationery items for this good cause. Some of the lady residents visited the school to distribute the goodies to the children. The children greeted us with a loud and cheerful ‘Namaste Aunty’. They sang a prayer with us and also recited poems. They displayed immense confidence in showing their talent. The older kids also danced to foot-tapping music showing grace and flair.
Soon the kids lined up in a queue to get their share of goodies from the aunties.
The ladies at RP2 feel privileged to be able to bring a smile to the childrens face in a small way. We hope to continue doing many more visits to such schools and helping in any manner that we can.
