On 15 August 2024, the nation celebrated its 78th Independence Day, or ‘Swata-ntrata Diwas,’ which glorified Indian history, the sacrifice of freedom fighters, and the significance of this celebration nationwide.
At AGV-1, residents celebrated this occasion with great respect and enthusiasm at the amphitheatre premise.
Security guards paraded the entire society and reached Central Park. Children gathered at the venue and joined in the march by holding tri-coloured flags in their hands, which looked beautiful. The entire society was decorated with balloons, which created a festive mood among all.
By 9:30 am. flag hoisting was commenced by singing our national anthem. Afterwards, children performed some patriotic songs, and elderly residents gave some speeches and shared various experiences about the bravery of the soldiers.
After the events, some refreshments were distributed among children, all the security guards and other helpers of the society.
