Independence Day of our great nation was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15th August at B-9.
Flag hoisting was done by children and senior citizens of our pocket. After a brief address by President Inderjit Singh, a vibrant cultural program was presented by talented kids and adults of our pocket.
Gifts were distributed to all participants. T-shirts were distributed to all service providers (security guards, gardeners and vatavaran staff). Awards were also given to best dressed lady and gentleman in traditional attire.
After the function residents enjoyed a sumptuous spread of Poori, pindi chhole, jeera aaloo, salad, pickle, Gulabjamun, hot tea and Amul masti (chhach).
