Even the biting cold could not dampen the spirit of the celebrations of the 74th Republic day at Wellington. The whole park was complete with our tricolour national flag and flowers. The flag was unfurled by Dr Rastogi at 10 am at W1 park in the presence of a large number of Wellingtonites. After the National Anthem programme started. Some ladies and kids sang patriotic songs. There was a Fancy dress competition, sack race, tug of war and lemon on a spoon race too. A large number of children participated and enjoyed it. After the program, snack boxes and coffee was served.
