Seven Children Get Cash Awards & Certificates
As in the past several years, SBWS organized the award function this year also, on Sunday, 26th May in the SBWS office cum library.
5 toppers of 12th Std & 2 toppers of 10th Boards, from S Block members family got cash awards & certificates.
Names of winners & marks scored are shown below;
12 th Science- Mehak Gupta, S 338 SF- 94%
Adya Jain, S 130 FF- 93%
12th Commerce- Diya Arora,S 110 TF-98.60%
Suhanee Chugh, S 84 GF- 96%
Harshita Gupta, S 164 GF- 94.2%
10 th Abhiveer Luthra- S 195 GF- 96.40%
Shubhmit Sharma, S 329 FF-93.80%
12th Physics topper (94%), Mehak Gupta also got the K.K. Gupta memorial award.
& ECO topper (98%), Diya Arora got the special S S L Malhotra award.
Mukta Datta Tomar, r/o S 179,I.F.S(Retd) 1984 batch & India’s former ambassador to Germany, was the Chief Guest. In her address, she encouraged the children to excel in whatever field they choose in life.
Some children also spoke on the occasion. A few parents also spoke & complimented SBWS CC & MC for giving cash awards & certificates to the toppers of S Block, year after year. Quite a few grandparents also attended the ceremony. Prithi Gupta was the M.C for the evening & Sunita Goel, chairperson, CC, proposed the vote of thanks. Sumptuous refreshments, tea & cold drinks were served to all.
