At last, the 33 kVA substation installation at Suncity has been completed. I must tell you that this has not been an easy task. What you see today is the result but the struggle behind all this is unknown to many.
It all happened after a lot of struggles (years together) involving a lot of follow-ups with the department officials and the builder at different levels including meetings with the MD of DHBVN.

You will agree that It’s important to ensure that the installation meets all safety and regulatory standards to ensure smooth operation. Thus, there were a lot of technical tests etc., that were carried out.
There was a lot of unrest among the WhatsApp groups at that time. And there were very rude or taunting comments too. I know it’s peak summer and it’s difficult to stay without power for a minute also but we must understand, empathise and appreciate the staff who were working for our present and the future in that heat. How difficult it would have been for them. When the testing work was going on, we all were staying inside our houses and at least we had inverters/ power back up but imagine the staff condition. I want you to understand that there can never be an ideal situation or weather to work. Sometimes the weather will be hot, humid or chilly or sometimes there will be festivals, sometimes there will be children’s exams etc. and so on. It would have been nice if the staff was given some energy drinks or some drink to hydrate them from our residents’ side. I only have one request to all of you Suncity is our home and not just any place where we are staying. Let’s live like a family and support each other. We are one family and let’s keep it that way.
