It is heartening to report, as an ongoing project of gifting self grown mango saplings, 30 mango saplings were gifted at 7th Asian Literary society (ALS),Literary Confluence at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, on 29th September 2024.
Manoj Krishnan author and founder (ALS) welcomed the distinguished guests, authors and participants and talked about key accomplishments of ALS communities. The program was moderated by Manoj Krishnan, Dr. Bishakha Sarma and Manisha Amol.
Distinguished guests Dr. Amrendra Khatwa Former Secretary MBA, Dr Subhash Chand Former Executive Director IRCON International and Vasat Iqbal Khan Sufi singer grace the occasion with their August presence. It was an awesome feeling when the Chief guests were felicitated with a shawl and saplings.
There were nine book launches and cultural program. Its was heartening to see mango saplings being gifted to the participants alongwith. The highlight of the program was the inauguration of the prize-winning Amrit Mahotsav song written by Anita Chand, lyrics composed by Visat Iqbal Khan and sung by an eminent singer Shilpi Srivastava. Together we could manage 30 saplings to give to esteemed guests and participants, who will nurture them well in their locales.
