Badminton Tournament in Santushti
The recently organized Badminton Tournament in Santushti Apartments D-6 witnessed more than 100 participants from all age groups coming together to showcase their skills and sportsmanship. Jagmohan Mehlawat (councillor Vasant Kunj Ward) initiated this tournament to promote community engagement and well-being in our locality.
Snehlata Rathi, President RWA Santushti Apartments, the organizers, Rajan Chhabra, Ankit Gupta, Aryan Rastogi and Vaibhav Mathur knew the importance of promoting an active lifestyle within our neighborhood and recognized that a sports event like this would be an ideal platform to bring people of all ages together.
The Tournament welcomed participants from various age groups, ranging from children as young as 7 to seniors in their late 60s. Categories included Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. There were a total of 12 Champions and 12 Runner-ups in all categories.
We eagerly await the next edition of this tournament, knowing that it will continue to be a smashing success, both on and off the court.
