Shri Shankar Narayan Mandir C-2, organised a grand festival on Tues 14 Nov for Govardhan Puja and Ankhut ceremony. The program started with kirtan by महिला कीर्तन मंडली.
Devotional Bhajans were presented by many ladies. They also performed Raaslila dance. About 75 ladies participated in the program. Beside ladies, Pt Sarad Pandey presented bhajans and explained in detail about Govardhan Mehetta (महता)
Pandit ji then took all the devotees to Sri Govardhan Dham and performed elaborate Puja with various mantras. Pt BL Shukla also joined the Puja, with the main yajman Mrs. & Mr. Ashok Goel.
Organized a grand Aarti through all Devotees and started गोवर्धन परिक्रमा।
There was a great feeling as all participants were present at Govardhan Dham. Prasad of Ankhut was prepared in mandir itself and distributed among 150 Devotees and participants.
