The construction of an elevated road over Shahdara Drain has apparently not re-started despite the necessary funds having been allocated by the Govt. of U.P. Given the importance of this project to our Sector, a meeting was held by the RWA on 18th May with Dr Mahesh Sharma, to ask him to help speed up the construction work. He assured the RWA that he would take up the matter with the concerned departments of Central and State Governments. Let’s hope this meeting serves the purpose as the project has been held up for nearly 4 years now.
